It would not be possible for the club to exist or operate without the generous contributions from donors and sponsors of the Saskatoon Rowing Club.  This type of support provides the means for the club to acquire and update its fleet of boats, oars, and safety gear; and to build the necessary infrastructure to maintain a quality rowing program within the community.  Please contact us if you are interested in donating to the SRC.  Because of the club’s non-profit status, all donations are tax deductible.

The Saskatoon Rowing Club would especially like to thank the following organizations and individuals who have made significant contributions to the success of the club:

Murray Fund Donor - George Ann Murray

Alan Auld Canada

Community Funders

  • Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust Fund for Sport, Culture and Recreation (Funds derived from the proceeds of the sale of lottery tickets in Saskatchewan)
  • Canada Summer Jobs Grant - Government of Canada
  • City of Saskatoon - Sports Participation Grant

The Saskatoon Rowing Club is actively seeking partners to help us ensure that rowing is available to all who are interested.  Sponsorship of this not-for-profit, volunteer run organization shows your support for:

  • youth athletics for all members of our community
  • active use of the Chief White Cap Waterway, South Saskatchewan River
  • rowing as a multi-generational sport, life-long fitness and competition
  • adaptive competition for rowers with disabilities
  • community development of the King George and Riversdale neighborhoods

The Saskatoon Rowing Club seeks sponsors throughout the year. Our annual events offer sponsors the opportunity to engage multiple times to local and non-local audiences.

Rowathon Fundraiser

The Saskatoon Rowing Club is hosting a fundraising event to be held at the Saskatoon Farmer’s Market on Saturday, May 27th, 2017. Our goal is to ROW to REGINA while generating revenue for the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan and the Club. We hope to increase awareness of the Club in the community and encourage newcomers to try rowing on the machines at the event or join a Learn to Row program. It is also our chance to showcase our love of the sport of ROWING. Sponsors can support the entire event, or send members of your organization to help us row to Regina!

Tapas at the Boathouse

In mid August, Saskatoon Rowing Club members, family, friends, and community partners come together to fundraise for the coming year of programming.  Our auction is a terrific chance to be part of this exclusive event. Sponsors can donate products and services and by joining us for the evening.

Head of the South Saskatchewan

This high-endurance 5.5k race brings teams from around the country to race through the bridges, past downtown and the Mendel. This regatta is the only rowing race that takes place in our beautiful city. Sponsors can support individual races or the whole event!

Saskatoon Rowing Club offers many benefits for sponsors, including ad space in our community and membership correspondence, private group learn-to-row lessons, featured promotions at regattas, and presence on our website.
