Junior Indoor Development
The Junior Development Indoor Program is an introductory rowing program for athletes in grades 9-12. Participants require no prior experience in the sport. Athletes will initially learn the basic parts of the stroke on the indoor rowing machine, followed by and introduction to training. Athletes will also be introduced to some core stability and body weight strength training. Athletes will participate in integrated practices with high performance athletes on Mondays and Wednesdays, and will participate in their own practice on Saturdays. This program will also act as a pathway of opportunity to join the Saskatoon Rowing Club's Junior rowing program.
