The Masters Novice program runs July - September, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7:30pm. The goal of the novice program is for rowers to build their technical skills and fitness in a non-competitive environment. If after a few months in novice, you decide that you'd like to become more competitive, based on your skills you may move to the Masters Competitive or Masters Recreational program.
BUILDING SKILLSEvery session is ran by a coach that will give you lots of technical feedback and help you to get better. Practice will vary from a nice long steady state row to a little workout.

NON-COMPETITIVEIn this program, our focus is on building skills, not racing. We work as a team to help each other grow, getting in boats with different people of different levels.

FUN FOR ALLAll are welcome at the SRC, we provide a fun light environment that everyone can enjoy. Rowing is a great sport and this program is the perfect place to start building your love for it!
