Masters Novice

The next step after your Learn to Row, a fun group to grow as a rower and build your technique!
The Masters Novice program runs from June 2nd – August 31st on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00–7:30 PM. The goal of the novice program is to help rowers build their technical skills and fitness in a supportive, learning-focused environment. Participants are considered novices for a full year, and if you are looking for more opportunities to expand your skills and become more competitive, you may have the option to progress into our Masters program based on your skill development.

BUILDING SKILLS

Every session is ran by a coach that will give you lots of technical feedback and help you to get better. Practice will vary from a nice long steady state row to a little workout.

NON-COMPETITIVE

In this program, our focus is on building skills, not racing. We work as a team to help each other grow, getting in boats with different people of different levels.

FUN FOR ALL

All are welcome at the SRC, we provide a fun light environment that everyone can enjoy. Rowing is a great sport and this program is the perfect place to start building your love for it!
