Learn to Row

The Learn to Row course is our introductory program for all new rowers. In the Learn to Row, you will be provided with a clear understanding of the skills necessary to effectively and safely maneuver a single scull. You will learn the basic parts of a boat, the calls, safety guidelines and great rowing technique.

The program includes six 1.5 hour lessons, including preparations for on-water sessions and an overview of the lesson for that day. Sessions can be found below.

Register here: via Rowing Canada
- Once you create an account press "Register/ Join" and then "Join a Program"
- Select "Saskatoon Rowing Club"
- Here, you will be given options of programs to join.
- Select the Learn to Row you would like and follow the steps to pay online.
- If you are under the age of 18, you will need to have a parent/guardian accept the waivers for you.
- Once you're registered, a few days before the Learn to Row, you will receive an email with instructions for the sessions

Your continual improvement and progress will be monitored and will help us determine the next best program for you with the Saskatoon Rowing Club.

- Full payment is required for registration. In the unlikely event that a session is cancelled due to low number of participants, those who have registered will be given the option of re-scheduling or a full refund.
